Day 5 - 8.35pm

More people arrived at the camp, they took some pictures then left. Sebastian has stopped digging, but remains in the hole staring at that big pillar thingy. Slightly worried about Tarquin, caught him trying to sneak out of the tent with some jam (Harrods Raspberry and Cassis), his eye tic is really quite noticeable now. Jemima asks us did we know that an anagram of Stella McCartney is Smelly Cancer Tat? Almost forgot about dinner but just managed to book a table...we will be having Cep baked in chestnut leaf, shallots and white wine, “croque monsieur” with four year old parmesan and spinach, light game and cep consommé followed by Oven roasted pigeon from Bresse with grilled polenta, smoked ventrèche, braised shallots and date sauce - and for dessert Banoffee pie souffle, banana and salted caramel crumble. Wine will be a 2008 Maison Henri Boillot Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru.

I am most enjoying this blog having being a follower from the start (well whomever put up the first link). And of course growing number of intelligent comments posted thus far - And for those without a sense of irony - You can view my very posh twat at any time (though not Sebastien obviously) ;-)

What's more I have been sharing in some of the food experieces of our activist friends. No wonder the BBC News site sought to highlight the positive aspects of our "English" diet over our Celtic cousins this very day! I've always said that a Quails Egg a day keeps the thrush away! *LOL*

However, I am somewhat concerned about your lack of imbibing in a decent dessert wine (Yah! I noted the Sauternes and possibly the Brasac or did I just think I delivered a case to the camp...but come on darling!). I emplore you to think outside the tent!

May I be bold and say that in order to progress this demonstration you need to be a bit more O77Omph? Perhaps more Prada in attitude than thus far Boden?

But I am with you all the way and please don't let us Farquars down!

    Love & squizzes

    Amelia

  2. Actually it is Jemima's idea to try and blend in which is why are menu's and wine selection is fairly limited. Hope you are not the Urquart-Farquar's of Gloucester - dreadful people.
